Department history
The Department of Computer Design Systems (CDS) was established in 1989 within the Radio Engineering Faculty to train engineers in "Computer Design Systems".
In 1992 the department joined a newly established Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. Since 1992/93 the department trains Bachelors major in "Computer Science", Specialists and Masters major in "Information Technologies of Design".
